Team Locum are hiring an Optical Assistant to support a lovely practice based in Glasgow.

You will join a vibrant team with a wealthy amount of combined experience in the industry, as well as a fantastic culture and atmosphere.

This can include but is not limited to

• Assisting with schedule management
• Assisting with dispensing
• Supporting your patient and taking the time to understand their requirements.
• Selling and advising on optical products

This role would suit a candidate who is hoping to progress professionally within the optics field and who has a genuine interest in the industry.

Essential Experience

• Previous experience within an Optical role- minimum 2 years
• Confidence selling optical products, training provided
• UK based experience
• Clear communication
• Dispensing experience

 Pay

• £25,000

Practice Opening Hours

• Monday to Friday: 9am – 5.30pm, Saturday 9am – 5pm
