Are you a skilled Optical Assistant looking for a new opportunity?
Team Locum are supporting a leading client based in London, with their search for their next OA.
Ideally you would have worked within the optical industry for a minimum of 2 years and have had exposure of dispensing frames.
We are looking for someone who has the confidence to help support and guide the team, in order for patients to have the best quality of service.
Your role will include but is not limited too:
- Supporting patients with enquiries face to face and via the telephone
- Overseeing the booking system and handling cancellations/new requests
- Working as a team and supporting different departments from the Dispensing Opticians to the Resident on site
- Dispensing frames from single vision to bi-focal
- Keeping the practice in a clean and presentable state
Previous experience required
- Minimum 2 years previous optical experience
- Strong customer service background
- Clear communication and confident to speak/assist patients
- Dispensing
- Full right to work in the UK
This is a full-time permanent contract, split across 5 working days which will include one day on a weekend.
Benefits include a basic salary up to £28,000, a reachable bonus structure and the ability to progress and gain further qualifications.
