Team Locum are hiring 5x Consultants (Anaesthetics) for an NHS client of ours, based in the West Midlands.

You will work alongside the General Anaesthetic Team and have close collaboration with consultants and junior doctors to enhance anaesthetic care delivery across various departments.

This is a permanent position; therefore we are looking for committed candidates who are willing to complete their CESR.

Daily Duties

• Deliver anaesthetic services across various specialties, with opportunities to develop special interests in Obstetric Anaesthesia, Bariatrics, Colorectal Anaesthesia, Preassessment, Simulation, or Education.
• Ensure the safe and effective delivery of anaesthesia to patients across the hospital, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to teaching, training, and supervision of junior staff.

Essential Experience

• 2 years’ experience post-training in anaesthesia.
• Be fully registered with the GMC
• CCT (Proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview)
• Must have a recognised Medical Degree
• ALS certification (Advanced Life Support) required before starting.
• Experience in obstetric anaesthesia and interest in developing other specialty areas is advantageous.

Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 6.00pm
• Fridays and Saturdays 08.00am – 2.00pm

Possible flexibility with hours/days which will be discussed at interview stage

Salary

£105,500 – £139,883 DOE
