Job Description
Team Locum is currently recruiting for an Independent Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist, to support an online pharmacy on a fully-remote basis.
This is an initial 3-6 month contract, however, it has the opportunity to be extended and made permanent for the right candidate.
You will be working with a highly qualified team of medical professionals to deliver exceptional service to your patients.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting patients with long-term medical conditions
- Repeat prescription management
- Structured medication reviews
- Communicating with patients through their preferred contact methods such as calls, video, emailing or messaging
- Inputting patient data on software systems including Emis Web, SystemOne and Microsoft Office
- Supporting healthcare collages, especially new employees starting after you
Essential skills/experience
- Gphc registered Pharmacist
- Independent Prescriber
- Minimum 12 months experience within an NHS setting
- Previous experience managing conditions including Hypertension, Type 2 Diabetes, Asthma and Lipids
- Previous experience using systems including Emis Web and SystemOne
